Community Highlights: Meet Tra-Viecia Stewart of House of Trans4mation

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tra-Viecia Stewart .

Hi Tra-Viecia, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey began behind the salon chair as a licensed cosmetologist. Day after day, I found myself doing more than just hair. I was listening to women share their stories of pain, trauma, and self-doubt. It became clear to me that many of them weren’t just seeking a new look, but a renewed sense of self. They craved confidence, healing, and emotional support.

That’s when I made the decision to deepen my impact by pursuing a degree in psychology. I wanted to do more than enhance outer beauty. I wanted to help women rebuild from the inside out. Today, I combine my background in beauty with a deep understanding of emotional wellness, creating safe spaces for women to rediscover their power, heal from within, and step fully into who they were always meant to be.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Like many passionate visionaries, I initially believed I had to start big a fully equipped center, staff, and all the bells and whistles. But reality didn’t quite match that dream. I didn’t have the resources at the time, and that gap between vision and means was discouraging. On top of that, I made the bold decision to move to a new city where I had no roots, no network, and no name recognition. I had to start from scratch rebuilding my brand, reintroducing myself, and proving my purpose all over again. It was humbling, it was hard, and at times, it felt like I was standing still. But through it all, I held on to the mission, knowing that every step no matter how small was leading me closer to the impact I was born to make.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about House of Trans4mation?
Despite the bumps along the way, I stayed committed to the vision and today, that vision has manifested into The House of Trans4mation. It’s more than a brand; it’s a sacred space and movement dedicated to helping women heal, rise, and reclaim their power.

At The House of Trans4mation, we focus on total womanhood emotional healing, confidence building, sisterhood, and personal development. Through transformative workshops, empowerment events, wellness experiences, and curated retreats, we guide women on the journey back to themselves. Our mission is to help women rediscover their worth, embrace their beauty inside and out, and step boldly into the life they deserve. What started behind the chair has now evolved into a full-circle purpose and I’m just getting started.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
One of the hardest lessons I’ve had to learn on this journey is that support doesn’t always come from the people you expect. I thought my family and friends would be my biggest cheerleaders but in many cases, they were silent. That silence hurt more than I imagined. But what surprised me just as deeply was the overwhelming love and encouragement from complete strangers, women who saw my heart, felt my mission, and stood beside me without ever having met me before.

That taught me that purpose doesn’t need permission. Sometimes your greatest support comes from outside your circle, and that’s okay. It reminded me that alignment matters more than attachment and that when you stay true to your calling, the right people will find you.
