In January 2024, lifelong friends Adrian Edwards and Shaughn Thomas embarked on a mission to transform their community’s financial future by founding Wealth Exchange Investing & Trading. With a shared vision to educate and empower, they set out to demystify the stock market and enhance financial literacy among their peers.
Shaughn Thomas, a decorated educator with over 11 years of experience, has dedicated his career to teaching youth the essentials of financial literacy. His innovative curriculum breaks down the complexities of credit, the stock market, and personal finance, making these crucial topics accessible and engaging for young minds.
Adrian Edwards, a seasoned businessman, entrepreneur, and marketer, identified a significant gap in the public’s financial knowledge. Recognizing the potential for profound impact, he teamed up with Shaughn to bridge this gap and empower their community with the tools for financial success.
Combining their extensive knowledge of the stock market and options trading, Adrian and Shaughn developed a comprehensive yet simplified guide to navigating the stock market. Their program illuminates the intricacies of buying and selling stocks and options, offering a pathway to financial independence and resilience in challenging economic times.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Adrian Edwards and Shaughn Thomas faced numerous challenges, but none greater than dispelling the myth that only Ivy League-educated Wall Street insiders can master the stock market. They aimed to prove that anyone, regardless of background or financial starting point, can learn to trade. Their course demonstrates that only basic math skills are required, and one can begin with as little as $100.
We’ve been impressed with Wealth Exchange Investing & Trading, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Trading in the stock market is a transformative skill, offering unlimited earning potential with just a computer or phone and an internet connection. Education, they emphasize, is the key to unlocking this potential. Since launching in 2024, Adrian and Shaughn have already educated over 150 adults and conducted Spring Break and Summer courses for teens. Their live Zoom classes, held twice a week for a month, provide interactive learning experiences.
Even after course completion, their commitment to students continues with a dedicated Discord community offering advanced learning, live trade analyses, and personalized mentorship. Adrian and Shaughn’s passion is to educate their community, guiding both youth and adults on their financial journeys. They remind their students that success requires patience, dedication, and a relentless pursuit of their goals. It’s not an overnight transformation but a daily commitment to the process, driven by an obsession with progress and learning.
