Community Highlights: Meet Wilfredo Soto of Jay Jan Limo Lux, LLC., S. Corp.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Wilfredo Soto.

Hi Wilfredo, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’m from Puerto Rico. I moved to Houston in 2016. Then I started working for a company that built luxury homes. My job was to keep the houses clean and tidy. Then I started driving for Uber and Lyft for a couple of hours. Then in 2017 I started working as a limousine driver and began helping some companies like Limolink, RMA, Empire Limousine, Ambassador, and others, and I also work independently.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I had to raise the money to buy a Chevrolet Suburban to start converting it into a limousine. Those trucks aren’t cheap, so I bought a 2012 Chevrolet Suburban to convert into a limousine. With that, I started to register it as a limousine and get the permits in the city, and that’s how it all began. Despite the obstacles, I didn’t give up, and now I own two Chevrolet Suburbans, which are part of my growing company, thanks to my perseverance and dedication to continuing to grow both personally and professionally so that I can provide my clients with the service they deserve.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
My business is a private limousine service. I offer pick-up, drop-off, on-call, chauffeur, scheduled pick-up, corporate trips, and hourly services. I travel to Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, throughout Texas, and beyond. I also provide services to other private companies such as LimoLink, Empire Limousine, and RMA Limousine, among others. My strengths are that I am punctual, friendly, courteous, respectful, and professional in my field. My vehicle is always impeccably clean, I have excellent customer reviews, and I am always available any day and time. I hold current commercial permits and insurance issued by the City of Houston, Texas. My priority is that my clients arrive safely and on time at their destination. For me, safety is paramount, and customer satisfaction comes first. My service lives up to my brand: luxurious and high-quality service.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I pride myself on being flexible with my clients. If a client makes a reservation but needs to change it for any reason, I offer a reasonable adjustment that works for both of us. Similarly, if a flight is delayed or canceled, I can adjust the pickup time to whenever the client is ready. On occasion, clients have been stranded in other cities in Texas, and I’ve made arrangements to go and pick them up.
