Today we’d like to introduce you to Yulissa Thomas
Hi Yulissa, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
As a Latina women, I grow up with no belief or opportunity to ever go to college let alone pursue my dreams and goals. But the fire in me never stopped dreaming of someday becoming the best version of myself and trusting myself that I would get there. As soon as I could start working I did because I knew I had big goals so I had to start somewhere. I started working at McDonalds as my first job and moved up to manager at only 18 years old I was one of the few to become a manager at such a young age and be so dedicated, yet I’m so grateful for the opportunity that was not my passion so taking with me everything I learn it benefits me for my business. Though I didn’t know what I was searching for I never stopped looking for that spark. So one day it just came to me that I had always been the person my mom would give the camera to for family gatherings so just like that I knew that was it. Taking pictures has been a beautiful experience to capture beautiful lasting memories for people in a space where they trust me and value my work. I started small and now looking back it’s been over 7 years since I started and it has been life change for me and my family. Like they say when you do what you love there is no day in your life that you work and that is very true. I continue to learn and grow my business each day and hope to inspire people to never stop dreaming.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It was never easy but I had such a strong support system at home with my husband who believed in me and always inspired me to keep going.

Yulissa Photography does it all, we take all kinds of photography sessions and events we also currently include video to our services.
What sets us apart from everyone is the way I make my clients feel they trust me, I bring out the best in them.
What I’m most proud about my business is how far It has come and continues to grow.
