Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea Everline.
Hailing from Houston, TX, Ms. Everline has ridden the wave of adversity. Her track was far from clear, as calamity would continue for years to come. The source of her strength reigned from the Almighty, through her parents. The sixth born of nine to Johnnie Faye and Ronald Anthony, Ms. Everline was raised in a home surrounded by love.
At the tender age of 13, her family lost its shine. Her mother’s battle with breast cancer ended after a decade. The next chapter of Dre’s life included heartache, basketball, and motherhood. All of which led to a life of fortitude.
In 2008, Andrea Everline founded Andrea’s Hope. It was her intent and successful carryout to bridge the gap in the Homeless community. Andrea continues to serve America’s homeless as she is committed to building the strength and upholding the foundation of the community through her work.
The altruistic philanthropist discovered a way to incorporate her passion, purpose, and privilege in 2015 when she founded R3FUEL. Since then, Ms. Everline continues to culminate and cultivate healing through art and fitness. While her clientele range from regal women/men to unemployed women/men, Ms. Everline’s work ethic and follow-through do not waiver.
It is evident that of all her endeavors, motherhood is her most victorious. The relationship she has with her son is proof that love reigns. Andrea’s faith, love, and hope are proof that anything is possible and she is ready to better the world by encouraging people to live their best life.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Of course, NOT.
The journey was/is definitely trying. Some of the struggles I endured started with self first. I had to convince myself that I was enough and that my gift was ENOUGH. I cut my plans to one PLAN and that would be my go too. I have no plan B, just A. The pressure in knowing that at any moment you can lose everything chasing your dream was/is scary. At one point, I did lose everything. I became homeless in Los Angeles and soon after I had to go take care of my sister. So, my plan A was paused for almost eight months. After she started to recover, I moved back out to LA with nothing and started fresh again. I was working in a barbershop, bartender, and at Starbucks. Plan A still was at the forefront of my mind, but I needed money to live. I moved into my first place and the rest has been history ever since. I got to WORK.
Two years later, I got engaged to my boyfriend that soon fell by the wayside after we ventured to Saint Louis for his work. A year later, I found myself back in Houston grinding again. But, this time I didn’t get a job. I created one in the park with my fitness journey. It took off and I landed an opportunity overseas working for the Royal family of Saud. While living in Saudi Arabia I finally came up with a name for my fitness company, R3FUEL. The mission was to R3FUEL as many lives as I can through fitness as a whole. Years later I gathered enough momentum to land me overseas speaking and on tour in West Africa. R3FUEL, is now an international fitness company that has the potential to grow bigger than I’ve ever dreamed it could be. I am looking to expand my brand in the U.S. while still traveling the world to refuel people lives through my gift. I am currently in school in pursuit to end with my doctorate in PHYSICAL THERAPY.
