Today we’d like to introduce you to Danni Raney.
Danni, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I have always been involved in the health and wellness industry throughout my life. I run a company called MacroKitchen, which offers meals that are designed to help clients live a healthier lifestyle without having to deal with the food decisions. One of my MacroKitchen clients is part of the Executive team of iCRYO, after being intrigued and impressed by my business sense offered me the chance to become a part of the iCRYO family. I recently stepped into the management role of the Houston Heights location and have been spreading the iCRYO education and taking over the cryotherapy industry one freeze at a time ever since.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
When you are passionate about helping people but you do not know exactly where you fit in, the Health & Wellness industry can seem a little overwhelming. Take your time and really research any and all things that catch your attention. You cannot be afraid to try something new or look into areas that you would never have thought would spark the wildfire in your soul. Your passion radiates and catches others attention, which is how I crossed paths with a lifechanging opportunity.
The biggest responsibility of being a part of the iCRYO team is about educating the public on the benefits and uses of the therapy. As far as my initial time as a cryotherapy specialist, the beginning is all about learning and soaking in all of the info to be able to educate, which can get a little overwhelming at times. I stayed persistent and mastered the certifications in remarkable time. With my progression into management, the beginning is always the toughest, but I was able to figure out my management style and now there’s no limit to my teams’ success.
Regardless of what your path is, you must believe in yourself and your capabilities. From day one, have faith in your decisions and stand by them. As time progresses, you will be able to build a team of amazing individuals that will be in the obtaining the vision you have. In the meantime, hustle and never give up on that vision.

Becoming a leader involves much more than being put in a leadership role, acquiring new skills, and adapting one’s style to the requirements of that role. It involves a fundamental identity shift and any woman is capable of doing so (with a little hairspray, some lip gloss, and a comfy but cute pair of shoes).
