Conversations with the Inspiring Fareedah Abdullah

Today we’d like to introduce you to Fareedah Abdullah.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Fareedah. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started my boutique out with just making bibs for my son. Because I was tired of seeing the same bibs and wanted my son to be unique. It then grew when we would be out and someone asked where I got the bib from. my husband is always pushing me to do better. So, in the year 2017, we opened in to be a full boutique selling everything from t-shirts to dog shirts.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It is never a smooth road when trying to achieve your goals. I had many from my embroidery machine breaking to in the middle of a big order hurricane Harvey taking everything from us. There will always be knockdowns but you have to roll with the punches. Get back up and continue to rise.

What should we know about Fareedah Boutique? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I make inspirational tees mostly people love my quotes. I’m mostly known for my cute bibs and tees. I’m most proud of how far I have gotten

For good reason, society often focuses more on the problems rather than the opportunities that exist, because the problems need to be solved. However, we’d probably also benefit from looking for and recognizing the opportunities that women are better positioned to capitalize on. Have you discovered such opportunities?
I feel women would make a wonderful president especially Mrs. Obama.
