Ahmed, thanks for joining us again. Just to level set a bit for folks who may have missed our last interview together, can you briefly introduce yourself?
I’m Ahmed Elsokary, the founder and director of Texas Premier Soccer Club. My journey in soccer has always been about more than just the game—it’s about creating a competitive and structured environment where young players can develop to their fullest potential.
Texas Premier was built with a clear vision: to provide high-quality training, a strong player pathway, and a culture that pushes players to improve every day. What sets us apart is our commitment to a family-oriented environment, a structured and organized platform for youth soccer, and a relentless focus on both player and character development. We believe in creating more than just athletes—we’re shaping individuals who succeed both on and off the field.
We also strive to ensure that every player has the opportunity to grow, no matter their circumstances. If a kid has the passion and drive to play, they should have access to the right coaching and resources, which is why we keep our programs inclusive and provide opportunities for those who need them.
Over the past few years, we’ve expanded, strengthened our developmental structure, and continued to grow as a leading and prominent soccer academy in our region. But we’re not stopping here. We have even bigger plans, more futures to shape, and dreams to implement as we build a lasting legacy for this organization. More than just a club, Texas Premier is a platform for young athletes to find opportunities, compete at higher levels, and be part of something bigger than themselves.

Awesome, so we reached out because we wanted to hear all about what you have been up to since we last connected.
Since our last conversation, Texas Premier Soccer Club has continued to grow and expand, reaching new areas in Houston and providing more access to players—especially in underserved communities. Our goal has always been to ensure that every player has a place to play and develop, and that vision is coming to life in bigger ways.
We’ve partnered with more prominent leagues, allowing our players to compete at higher levels, while also growing our own local soccer leagues. This gives teams and players in our community a structured place to play that truly reflects their age, skill level, and developmental needs. From the foundation to the top, we are committed to supporting players at all levels, making sure that everyone—from beginners to advanced athletes—has a clear and competitive pathway forward.
Another major focus for us has been working with clubs around us to create partnerships rather than division. We believe in building bridges instead of barriers, ensuring that soccer remains an inclusive and collaborative space where clubs can work together to provide the best opportunities for their players. By fostering these relationships, we’re strengthening the local soccer community as a whole.
One of the most exciting developments has been the implementation of our club curriculum and structure. We’ve worked hard to align our coaching philosophy, staff, and player development approach, ensuring that every player gets quality training and a consistent experience throughout their journey with us. Seeing this come to life has been incredibly rewarding.
Of course, like any growing organization, we’ve faced challenges as well. The politics of youth soccer remain a constant battle, and while we’re privileged to be part of this system, we’re also working to ensure that players, teams, and clubs of all sizes and levels don’t fall through the cracks. Soccer should be an inclusive, connected journey for all young athletes, and we’re committed to being a club that prioritizes that.
At the end of the day, youth sports play a vital role in a child’s development—far beyond the game itself. We’re proud to be part of something bigger than just soccer, building a culture that fosters growth, opportunity, and a true passion for the game.

What do you want people to remember about you and your brand? What are some of things that you feel are most important, unique, special, etc?
What I want people to remember about me and my brand is that we’re about more than just soccer. At Texas Premier Soccer Club, we believe in creating opportunities for every player, regardless of their background or skill level. Our mission is to inspire success in each individual, not just on the field, but in life. We’re here to mentor and guide young athletes, helping them build confidence, discipline, and leadership skills that will carry them beyond the game.
What sets us apart is our family-oriented culture and our structured approach to youth soccer. We focus on providing a pathway for all players to grow, from the youngest beginners to those with aspirations of playing at higher levels. It’s about fostering a love for the game while supporting personal development every step of the way.
