Hi Autumn, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I start sewing at a very young age. At 7 I knew how to sew just about anything. My mom grandma and aunts was into the sewing world heavy. If there was anything I needed to know they were my go-to. My mom bought me my first sewing machine at 8 years old, that’s when I start taking myself serious. I loved My Father firefighter uniforms I would rip them up haha he retired now (he would tell my mom on me every time I would cut his things up) so he finally put a lock on his closet. It’s funny now because I have worked on over 5000 uniforms.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Everything hasn’t always been smooth. The biggest struggle I ever had to deal with in my life is losing my Mother April 1, 2023, she was my best friend She was my biggest supporter. She gave me a lot of feedback on a lot of the things I would make. Now it’s been hard to really create without her opinion. It’s been a challenge but I’m working through it with God.

I’m an independent contractor for the City of Dallas and the City of Houston. I specializes in making Police &EMT uniforms etc. I love what I do I enjoy it. I’m proud to see my work every day whether it’s the news or just out in public seeing my work. I also specializes in Prom Dresses, Alterations Weddings dresses Men fittings suits, etc. Dallas Market Hall is where you can find my amazing collection. Abova has garnered worldwide attention, I have worked long side the Dallas Mav Basketball team from repairing uniforms to building Aircraft seats for American Airlines. And private Jets. Her clothing has been worn by multiple celebrities NFL players, hip-hop artists, and reality TV stars. Known as fashion-forward with unique and captivating garments, I’m extremely thankful and blessed.
