Conversations with Cassidy Lee

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cassidy Lee.

Hi Cassidy, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I got started in digital marketing while working in radio in Denver, Colorado. I assisted in advertising campaigns, voiced commercials, updated websites, and more for clients of the radio station and soon realized I really enjoyed the marketing and website design aspect of the business. I ventured on my own in late 2018 and by mid-2019 I was fully self-employed, working remotely. God has truly blessed me in many ways! As the daughter of a successful business owner, I knew from the start that I wanted to help similar small businesses succeed in marketing without needing a hefty price tag. Just honest, straightforward services. That philosophy has carried me and my business thus far.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Selling yourself and your services can always have its ups and downs. The biggest hurdle can be convincing people that working together is a worthwhile investment for their business. 2020 was certainly a trying time for many businesses, and it really drove home the concept of making myself a necessary asset to my clients success. There are few business that would say they have no faced hurdles or struggles along the way. In the most honest and jarring words, adapt or die becomes a small business owners mantra.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I help small to medium-sized businesses with marketing and website design, without requiring a huge budget. Many small businesses assume they need to spend thousands for marketing to be effective, but I focus on showing that consistency and functionality often go much further than expensive campaigns.
Studies show consumers trust businesses with a consistent online presence and an updated, easy-to-navigate website. Think about it: would you rather go to a restaurant with outdated info and few reviews, or one with accurate, current details and positive feedback?
What sets me apart from other marketing agencies is my focus on where it matters. You don’t need to be on every platform, just the ones where your customers are. I help businesses maintain a consistent presence, update their website, and improve online visibility in ways that actually attract customers.
For example, I worked with a business owner struggling to get more clients. Her Apple Maps and Google Business listings had conflicting info, and her website had outdated service details. Fixing these small issues increased her organic reach, without spending thousands.
I tailor my work to each client’s needs. You only pay for what you need…no cookie-cutter packages, no unnecessary expenses. This practice definitely sets Dash Media apart in the marketing world.

How do you define success?
I believe success is less of a destination and more of a linear perspective. If I am enjoying the life God has given me, spending quality time with my husband, work with great clients, have a healthy body, and sleep well at night, what is more successful than that?
