Today we’d like to introduce you to Chai Cikes.
Hi Chai , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Briefly walking you through my story is funny, because Chai’s Healing Corner didn’t begin with a product – it began with a becoming.
Before I ever crafted my first bar of soap or mixed my first herbal bath blend, the seeds of this work were already growing inside me.
Between 2015 and 2017, I experienced what I can only describe as a reawakening. I started reprogramming the way I thought, the way I cared for myself, and the way I approached my wellness. I replaced everything in my routine with natural alternatives – cactus masks, aloe, bentonite clay, oatmeal, honey, carrot masks – anything that supported my skin and spirit without toxicity.
But the true turning point came from a deeply traumatic moment in my life: a miscarriage.
During that period, a part of me was desperately searching for healing, and I was guided to a womb-healing circle. It was there that everything clicked – we used herbs, ancestral practices, intuitive rituals, and natural methods to cleanse, restore, and reconnect with our bodies. It was sacred and private, but it opened something in me. I realized that these practices weren’t just healing me – they were traditions that deserved to be shared, honored, and passed on.
As I started creating my own products, people around me began to notice the shift. Friends, family, and even strangers would ask, “Can you make me a…?” And little by little, those requests grew. Eventually I realized:
This wasn’t just something I did. This was something I was meant to offer.
And that’s how Chai’s Healing Corner was born – from awakening, from trauma transformed into wisdom, and from a desire to help others reconnect with the natural, intuitive healing that saved me.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Has it been a smooth road? Absolutely not – but every bump has taught me something invaluable.
I’ve learned to smooth the road as I walk it. Some of the most beautiful moments in my business have come from recognizing where something needed improvement and having the courage to correct it. If I saw a problem, if something wasn’t aligned, or if I realized I wasn’t fully showing up as who I’m meant to be, I learned how to adjust, refine, and grow.
Chai’s Healing Corner started in 2020, and next September will mark six years. Even though it began as a side passion, I’ve never approached it like a traditional business. It has always been a ministry. The work speaks for itself because it comes from a place that’s deeply personal and deeply spiritual.
One of my biggest ongoing struggles has been staying mentally regulated. When I’m overwhelmed, dysregulated, or spiraling, I tend to shut down – and in those moments, I sometimes abandon my business and unintentionally distance myself from my customers. It used to make me feel guilty, but over time I’ve learned an important truth:
I’m allowed to rest. I’m allowed to say no. I’m allowed to step back.
This is my business, and it’s okay to honor my humanity.
At the same time, I recognize the responsibility I have – to my community, to the people who trust me, and to those who will meet me along this journey. So right now, my greatest work is learning how to stay balanced even during moments of imbalance. I’m learning how to take care of myself without abandoning the vision I’ve built, and how to hold space for others while still holding space for me.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
As the great Erykah Badu said, “I’m an artist, and I’m sensitive about my shit.”
And that’s exactly how I feel.
I am an artist.
I am an alchemist.
I am an earthbender.
I am an herbalist and a metaphysicist.
I am a rootworker, a conjure woman, a medicine woman.
I am many things – and all of those pieces come together to create Chai’s Healing Corner.
I specialize in helping women remember who the f*ck they are.
I guide women back into their bodies, back into their power, back into their intuition.
I help them ground themselves, call in protection from their ancestors, attract abundance and prosperity, and learn to sit with their own spirit.
I teach women to love themselves, to honor themselves, and to recognize their worth.
I advocate for mental health and healing through intentional self-care.
On the surface, people know me for soap and sage.
But Chai’s Healing Corner is so much deeper than that.
It’s emotional work. Spiritual work. Transformative work.
It’s a reconnecting to self.
In 2025, I showed up with a level of consistency I had never reached before.
The first half of the year, I was on fire – producing, creating, connecting, healing.
Towards the end of the year I burned out, and that’s okay. Burnout doesn’t erase the brilliance that came before it.
If anything, it showed me how far I’ve come.
Because in past years, I was just tapping the surface.
But 2025 Chai made some noise.
What sets me apart..?
Honestly? People would have to tell you what sets me apart.
But if I had to guess, I’d say it’s this:
I’m real as hell.
I come honest. I come vulnerable. I come broken, healing, and still willing to do the work – right alongside the women I serve.
I’m not here to pretend I have it all together.
I’m here to show that you’re not alone, that healing is possible, that there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel, and that you don’t have to walk toward that light by yourself.
And what sets Chai’s Healing Corner apart is simple:
We’re not just a business.
Yes, there’s an energy exchange – but this is not a business in the traditional sense.
Chai’s Healing Corner is a ministry.
I breathe life into people, and in return, I’m surrounded by a community that breathes life back into me. The connections, the relationships, the spiritual reciprocity – that is the heart of what makes my work unique.
That is what sets us apart.
That is Chai’s Healing Corner.
So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
I’m always open to collaboration. I love connecting with people in my community and putting our minds together to see what we can create. One of the ways I already engage with the community is through my Sip & Shop events – intimate, healing-centered gatherings where people can meet, shop, talk, and recharge. I host a few throughout the year, and I’m always looking to expand that experience.
I would love to collaborate with mental health professionals and other entrepreneurs in the self-care and holistic wellness industry – Reiki practitioners, massage therapists, estheticians, energy workers, herbalists, you name it. My dream is to create a wellness program or even a physical wellness house where people can come and receive services in a safe, nurturing environment. Ideally, it would be donation-based or run on a monthly membership model so everyone has access to healing, not just those who can afford it.
If you want to support me, honestly… just love me.
Love is the highest vibration, and I’m out here doing Goddess work.
You can support me by sharing my information, my website, my products, my videos – or by introducing someone to my work who might need it. Order my products, use them, review them, talk about them. Word of mouth is powerful, and everything people do with genuine love and intention helps keep Chai’s Healing Corner growing.
