Today we’d like to introduce you to Chantel And Renee Mark.
Hi Chantel and Renee, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Chantel and I have been business partners for over a decade, brought together by a shared heart for service and a deep compassion for people. When we were introduced to the idea of creating a boarding home for seniors, we were immediately drawn to the opportunity to truly make a difference. The rising cost of healthcare and the realities of aging often leave seniors and their families with limited, overwhelming options, and we saw a clear need for something better.
Before becoming a nurse, I worked in nursing homes and witnessed the full spectrum, the good, the bad, and the unfortunate realities many seniors face. Those experiences shaped our vision. We wanted to create a true home environment for seniors who can no longer live alone but still want to maintain as much independence as possible. Our goal was to combine comfort and dignity with the peace of mind that comes from having help available when it’s needed—along with nutritious meals, a clean and welcoming space, and meaningful social interaction.
Beyond housing, we’ve built an ecosystem of support designed to guide seniors and their families through complex care decisions. From Medicare education and life insurance planning to strong partnerships with Texas hospice providers, we help ensure people receive honest, appropriate support—especially during the later stages of life. Many families don’t realize that hospice care can be provided in their home as well and is often covered 100% by Medicare, and we make it a priority to educate and guide them through those benefits.
At the heart of everything we do is family. Our residents are an extension of our own, and we intentionally cultivate a loving, respectful environment that’s felt the moment someone walks through our doors.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. One of the biggest challenges was building the right team—finding people who genuinely shared our compassion, values, and vision for how seniors should be cared for. Once we were able to put that core team in place, everything else began to fall into alignment, and the business truly found its rhythm.
Life, of course, doesn’t pause for entrepreneurship. As a business owner, you’re expected to show up no matter what’s happening personally. I lost my mother in November 2025, and navigating that loss while continuing to lead was incredibly difficult. At the same time, that experience deepened my empathy in ways I couldn’t have anticipate, especially for families and individuals receiving hospice services. It reinforced why we do this work and strengthened my commitment to providing compassionate, honest care during life’s most vulnerable moments.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’ve been a registered nurse for over 20 years, with experience across multiple areas of healthcare, including hospice and my primary specialty in the operating room. That clinical background allows me to approach senior care with both precision and compassion. Before Chantel and I became owners in Texas hospice provider services, I had already seen firsthand how critical quality end-of-life care and honest guidance are for families.
Beyond healthcare, Chantel and I also owned a life insurance company together and continue to educate families on the importance of having proper coverage in place so they’re not leaving a financial burden behind. Our work is very holistic—we don’t just focus on one aspect of care, but on the full picture of a person’s needs.
What truly sets us apart is trust. Chantel has a remarkable ability to connect with people and build genuine relationships, while my background allows me to guide families through complex medical and care decisions with clarity and integrity. What I’m most proud of is the reputation we’ve built—one rooted in compassion, transparency, and consistently doing what’s right for the people who trust us with their loved ones.
What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is dignity—making sure people are seen, heard, and cared for with respect at every stage of life. Families often come to us during moments of uncertainty or crisis, and being able to provide clarity, compassion, and honest guidance during those times is incredibly meaningful to me. This work isn’t just about services or business—it’s about people, trust, and showing up when it matters most.
