Today we’re excited to be connecting with Chloé Jelyse again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.
Chloé, we are so thrilled to be connecting again and can’t wait to hear about all the amazing things you have been up to. Before we jump into all of that, some of our readers might have missed our prior interview, so can you take a moment to reintroduce yourself?
Hi! My name is Chloé Jelyse! I am a 22 year old entrepreneur who has been in the entrepreneurship game since 2019! I started off as a lash tech ( and still currently am). As many of you know, Covid began shortly after I started offering lash extensions as a service! During Covid, I was wrapping up my senior year of high school when Covid hit, and like everyone else, I was bored out of my MIND! So, fast forward…i have always loved the idea of baking but never truly thought that I, Chloé, would become a baker! Someone gave me this random idea to start selling cake slices – And me being me, feeling like I could sell water to a fish, I was like why not!? An excuse to get out of the house and make money? Definitely didn’t have to tell me twice!
This quick thought slowly turned into a Luxury cake decorating business specializing in all types of cakes! Coming from selling individual cake slices all around Houston, even featuring in a restaurant, To working with celebrities and catering for all types of events! It truly warms my heart and is my motivation everyday to keep going! This “small” business, isn’t so small anymore and I couldn’t have done it without my family and most importantly my Sweet Treat supporters!
I truly hope that I can continue to be an inspiration to others and myself. Being an entrepreneur has taught me so many valuable lessons that I can apply throughout life. The most important lesson of them all, is to never give up on your dreams! It sounds so cliche but it’s true! I vividly remember taking this huge leap of faith and wondering if this was the right decision, looking back I am so glad that I did! There is so much more in store for Sweet Treats, and I can’t wait to take you guys on this journey with me!
Awesome, so we reached out because we wanted to hear all about what you have been up to since we last connected.
So, fast forward a few years later! Sweet Treats by Chloé Jelyse is flourishing! I absolutely can not wait to see how much Sweet Treats continues to grow!
Sweet treats has worked with a numerous amount of event planners and a few celebrities! We are now specializing in Tiered cakes, realistic cakes, and can’t wait to continue to expand.
Although I love my job and wouldn’t trade it for the world, I would be lying if I said this journey was easy! There has been a numerous amount of sleepless nights and waking up at the wee hours of the night to finish orders! Learning how to handle my clients with care and expressing how much time and effort goes into these creations, has been super beneficial to my business. I have met so many lovely people throughout this journey and you guys have truly made my experience in the entrepreneurial world nothing short of amazing!
Sweet treats by Chloé Jelyse looks forward to showing her community the true value of these luxury cakes, and also opening up doors for other bakers to express their creativity! Here at Sweet Treats, we strive to continue to share this art with the world and hope to inspire other bakers to keep going!

I love this question because often times as a business owner, it can be so hard to give yourself your flowers. As I reflect on the recent years of my life, and am truly in awe at how much I have grown. I am so thankful to have experienced life with such amazing people with amazing experiences! I am mostly proud of how I never let the word “No” hold me back from anything. When one door closes, another one surely will open and that’s a fact!
