

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christina Griffin.
Hi Christina, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was a bartender, bar manager and event coordinator who picked up a camera 6 years ago and started as a hobbiest, photographing bugs and flowers. Then covid hit, and I used those months at home as an opportunity to focus on starting my business, learning by giving away free outdoor photoshoots. All my guests and friends supported me in my business endeavors, and started hiring me for all of their events and special moments, and now I get to work with amazing brands, like Jim Beam, Bacardi, American Heart Association, and have even been the cover image of Texas Weddings Magazine.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all, coming from the service industry, and having acquired my GED at 32, there were huge hurdles to jump when it came to technology. There were so many days I banged my head on my desk while being a youtube university student, and a ton of evenings spent at home learning and growing my skills, when I wanted to be out with my friends instead.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a photographer/creative stylist, specializing in connecting with my clients and creating the imagery they envision, whether that be a family session, a wedding or an industry event. I am known for my passion, creativity, enthusiasm and over delivering,
Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
My CRM Honeybook, its a wonderful way to keep track of the 30-40 clients I have consistently at any given time.
