Cornelius, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My journey in the hair industry began as a hairstylist assistant, traveling from city to city for two years, shampooing and assisting wherever I was needed. During this time, I developed a deep passion for hair care, particularly for helping my clients achieve and maintain healthy hair. This passion inspired me to create my own product line, (Neil’z Naturalz)where I combined different remedies and conducted extensive research to understand the science behind healthy hair.
I found immense joy in treating damaged hair and giving clients experiences they truly loved. Seeing their smiles and witnessing their hair transform—beautiful, healthy, and growing—was incredibly fulfilling. This fueled my drive to keep going.
As my passion grew, I began building my own clientele, maintaining their hair, and expanding my skills. Eventually, I gained the confidence to branch out and work independently. Over the years, I’ve dedicated myself to mastering the ins and outs of the hair industry, ensuring every client feels cared for and leaves my chair happy with a smile.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I won’t say it was a smooth journey, but the obstacles and challenges I faced along the way taught me valuable lessons. I learned the importance of self-discipline, staying grounded, and remaining consistent. It’s easy to get knocked off your path, especially when not everyone supports your growth. However, those difficulties shaped me and strengthened my determination to keep pushing forward and stay focused on my passion.

One of the things I want people to know about my business is that I specialize in hair coloring, creating unique, custom colors tailored to each individual. Ombre coloring is my specialty, and I’m proud to say that people travel from city to city and even state to state to have their hair colored and serviced by me.
In addition to my coloring expertise, all of my hair products are 100% natural, handmade, and personally created by me. Every product is crafted with care and designed to promote healthy, beautiful hair for my clients.

Something people might not know about me is that I’m naturally very shy until I get comfortable and open up. Starting and running my own business has played a huge role in helping me step out of my shell. It’s pushed me to grow, connect with others, and build confidence in ways I never imagined.
