Hi Crystal, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey began over 12 years ago when I started as a Life Insurance Agent, driven by a passion for helping people protect their families and financial futures. Early on, I realized that insurance is more than policies—it’s about peace of mind and security during life’s unexpected moments.
Over time, I expanded my expertise beyond life insurance to include auto, home, umbrella, and specialty lines, giving clients a complete protection plan. Today, as a licensed agent with Comparion Insurance, I partner with over 30 A‑rated carriers to provide tailored coverage at competitive rates.
What sets my approach apart is education—I make insurance simple and transparent so clients feel confident in their decisions. After 16 years in the Houston community, I’ve built lasting relationships based on trust, and I continue to review policies annually to ensure clients always have the best value and protection.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. One of the biggest challenges I faced early on was shifting the perception that insurance is just about finding the cheapest price. Many people don’t realize how much risk they take on with inadequate limits or missing endorsements, and explaining that in a way that resonates can be difficult.
I overcame this by focusing on education—breaking down complex insurance terms into plain language and using real-life examples to show why proper coverage matters. Another challenge was building trust in a competitive market. I learned that transparency and consistency are key, so I make it a priority to review policies annually and keep clients informed as their needs change.
These experiences taught me that success isn’t about selling—it’s about listening, educating, and building relationships that last.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a licensed insurance agent specializing in comprehensive protection for individuals and businesses—auto, home, umbrella, life, and even specialty lines like rental properties, motorcycles, and pet insurance. I also provide commercial auto insurance for business owners who need to protect their vehicles and drivers on the road.
What I’m most proud of is the trust I’ve built with clients by making insurance simple and transparent. I’m known for taking the time to educate clients, breaking down complex terms into plain language, and tailoring coverage to fit their unique needs and budget.
What sets me apart is my ability to shop across 30+ A‑rated carriers, ensuring clients get competitive rates without sacrificing protection. Beyond policies, I focus on relationships—reviewing coverage annually, identifying new discounts, and adapting plans as life changes. My mission is to give clients peace of mind, knowing they’re protected today and prepared for tomorrow.

What are your plans for the future?
Looking ahead, my focus is on continuing to grow as a trusted advisor for both individuals and businesses. I plan to expand my reach in commercial insurance, especially commercial auto coverage, to help business owners protect their operations and employees.
I’m also excited about leveraging technology to make the insurance process even more convenient—streamlined quoting, digital policy reviews, and educational resources that empower clients to make informed decisions.
Long term, my goal is to build a team that shares my commitment to transparency and personalized service, so we can help even more families and businesses safeguard what matters most.
