Conversations with Earl The Monarch

Today we’d like to introduce you to Earl Minard III.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started making music in 2012 under a different rap name “O.E.” I changed my rap name to Earl The Monarch in 2017. I’ve always had a love and passion for music, my main goal with music is to help change lives like music has done for me.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Every road has its roadblocks and steep potholes. The journey hasn’t been the worst but it hasn’t been the best either. Biggest issue I’ve run into with music is trusting certain people I shouldn’t have. At the same time taking accountability every experience I wouldn’t change cuz I learned “oh I could have done this better”

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a hip-hop artist from Port Arthur, Texas. The land of the Trill, home of Pimp c (RIP) & Bun B. I’m mostly known for my song Inhibitions. One of my proudest moments was opening up for my favorite rapper Freddie Gibbs & doing my first radio interview. Pushing new singles now “Came Down” & “Texas Get The Money” are the lead singles to my upcoming album “Blue Cup Chronicles”.

Texas Get The Money

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I’m literally the same person. Sure I’ve grown out of immaturities but I’m almost exactly the same person I’ve always been. Lowkey. Introverted, until you truly get to know me.
