Gillian , thanks for joining us again. Just to level set a bit for folks who may have missed our last interview together, can you briefly introduce yourself?
I, Gillian along with my daughter Danielle started our custom jewelry business a little over 5 years ago! Danielle whom is the designer and merchandiser of our business. I create 90% of her designs. We began 3 years ago doing both spring and fall markets in Round Top, at the beginning Danielle suggested customizing a charm for the boots “BootSwags” we custom design each one so no 2 are alike, unless of course we do “game day” BootSwags for about of different colleges and high schools. When we design these in their school colors and add a charm that is usually their mascot. Since the BootSwag took off so tremendously, our next market in Round Top we introduced custom hats! Which now we custom design our very own hats and designs! We custom brand/burn initials on each and every BootSwag as we do hats. We also wholesale our line and have an online wholesale website along with going to wholesale markets 6 x a year!
Great, so let’s jump into an update on what you have been up to since we last spoke. What can you share with us?
We have since introduced our custom BootSwags, custom hats and “Game Day” hats for schools and colleges. We also are continuing with our custom gemstone jewelry collection
We have now arrived at one of our favorite parts of the interview – the lightning round. We’ll ask you a few quick questions to give us all some fun insights about you.

When you look back on your life, what are three things you expect to be proud of?
First and foremost speaking from a mothers point of view
Becoming a mother to my most amazing children Danielle and Gareth
Becoming a GRANDmother to my 4 most magnificen, sweet, kind GRANDchildren Charlotte 10, (our business is C.Shel, Charlotte Sheldon Rolfes = C.Shel) when Danielle was pregnant her husband realized once they named her that she was a C.Shel (Sheldon being my maiden name and Charlotte’s middle name) then Sanders (the only boy) younger sibling to Charlotte, he is 8, my son Gareth and his wife Ally have Palmer 6 and Lele almost 3
