Today we’d like to introduce you to Hope Dorsett.
Hi Hope, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My story starts with a deep passion for creativity, especially in design. I’ve always been drawn to making things beautiful and functional, but it wasn’t until I discovered interior styling and photo shoot design that I really found my groove. It began as a spark—playing with spaces, experimenting with layouts, and figuring out how to tell a story through visuals. Over time, that spark turned into a love for crafting environments that feel just right, whether it’s a cozy room or a perfectly staged shot. Today, I’m all about blending those passions—bringing my eye for design into every project I take on.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Finding my footing as a creative took time—early on, I struggled with figuring out how to turn my passion into something concrete. That changed when I discovered styling interiors and photo shoots. Suddenly, it didn’t feel like work, and that’s when I knew I’d found my path.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
With a graphic design degree and roots in interior design and hospitality, I mix bold visuals, practical elegance, and a curated touch. I’m known for adapting to any style—modern, traditional, whatever works—and bringing a positive, hard-working mindset to every project. I’m most proud of making that blend uniquely mine. What sets me apart? My versatility and upbeat drive to make every space shine.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Most people assume I’ve got a signature style locked down as a stylist, but what they don’t know is I don’t feel tied to one. I love bouncing between vibes—sleek and modern one day, warm and eclectic the next. It keeps me inspired and lets me surprise even myself with what I create.
