Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer

Hi Jennifer, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Houston Premium Apartments was born as an attempt of personal branding without ever showing my face, to help guide people to the apartments of their dreams while aspiring to be Houston’s best concierge apartment locating service where within 48 hours of people requesting a list, they would receive a list of their desired apartment criteria that they might hopefully love. It later evolved into a social media landing page where people could look to find their dream spaces in their desired price point, as we expanded our search for others, we began to service all price point, including luxury apartments. We help people of all price points and walks of life be able to comfortably seek their dream spaces with providing us with a few simple things just to get started so they can move into the next chapter of life into a place that they’re going to love making their next memories in, and that they’re proud of. Meeting my business partner, Jacob Leoni, helped me grow the Houston Premium Apartment landing page and integrated it with representing my marketing portfolio for multi-family in Houston, TX to a total of over 400 million in total, the most expensive property we help market is the Museum Tower, which was just valued at 81 million as of late. He assisted in helping me expand the possibilities to market higher-end properties and help those in a higher price point find their dream space as well. In our side-by-side efforts, we assisted buildings in increasing their overall occupancy that we represented while at the same time, putting our clients first with a true personalized touch to each person’s individual needs.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It was a smooth road until my journey called me to grow, and it placed Jacob in my path to realize the direction in which I needed to grow. Together, we oversaw day to day operations, placed in strategic plans for growth and how to help others the best we could, and began to overcome adversity that you see in those spaces. Sometimes one can blame the market for it being slow, other times, one must take control of their situation and pivot, give feedback to the buildings we are helping, such that the renters we assist can have their dream home in the sky for a price they are willing to pay. That probably has been of the most challenging parts, learning to have these difficult conversations sometimes but at the end of the day, you’ve done your absolute best by yourself and your clients and you end up helping them navigate the market and find their dream space.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a real estate agent that has been based in Houston and have recently expanded to the Austin market area. I help people find their dream spaces and I specialize in selling single family homes and in assisting people rent, I specialize in high rise apartments. I am known for my Houston Premium Apartments brand and I have recently launched an Austin Premium Apartments page. I am most proud of being a real estate agent that takes on a true personalized approach to every single person I meet. I really care about everything you tell me because my work is not light, people trust me to guide them to the place they’re calling home from anywhere from a year to ten years, with the right guidance, you’re going to be really happy there for a really long time. Not just because it’s your dream space but also because it’s right by Whole Foods and you told me that you only shop there, or it’s also by Hermann park and every morning, you run 5 miles because you told me it’s a part of your wellness regimen, or because it’s by your friends and your favorite places to dine, because you told me that you thrive in community. Your joy is the most important thing to me and that begins in a home where you’re happy and proud of waking up in every day. That’s what sets me apart as a real estate agent. It’s not just about the glimmer in your eye when you see a place you love but also about the things you told me you needed for this part of your journey. If I’m able to help you find a place where you get both, I am happiest and I am so happy and grateful that I get to be of service to others in this manner.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What I love best about my city is the true range it provides. You could practically be in different parts of Houston and it won’t feel like it. When I think back on my move to Austin, sometimes I think I could have just moved to the Heights, because it feels so similar with all of the greenery, walkability, and unique dining and entertainment experiences. Every part of Houston has its own feel with likeminded people and what they value, and you can really live happily if you’re simply in the right location. What I like least might just be the commute everywhere, depending on where you are, you’re a 30-40 minute drive or 8 minute drive from everything you like.
