Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Mitchell
Hi Jessica, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my 1st business in 2017 Houston Custom Designs, which is a Graphic Design business. Houston Custom Designs put me on the map, and got my names into big rooms! I’ve helped over 100 business owners brand their businesses within these 7 years! I met a lot of awesome people while building Houston Custom Designs! I started a boutique “Female Hustler Boutique “ in 2020 which is under construction right now. I ventured off into taxes in 2021. Now I’m in the entertainment industry! Onney who is now a mentor of mine, interviewed me on her show (Think Outside of the Box) We met and gravitated towards one another! Onney has trusted me to assist her in the music industry, which led me to bringing models to HD for President videoshoot! HD song “Touch Down 2 Cause Hell” and dance went viral on Tiktok which caused the youtube views to reach over 100k in one day, from there I started my career in the entertainment industry! I played a police officer in Houston’s movie Dirty 3rd (new generation) and now I’m branching off to start a music label, which is my new Business Venture “Luckycharms Label”
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely has not been a smooth road, these pass 7 years in business. It’s been a lot of blood, sweat and tears! I had to deal with a lot of people trying to dim my light which turned into betrayal and defamation of character. I took a mental break from everything, and everyone for 2 years including my businesses! Which was best for my mental health and physical wellbeing. I’m glad I took that break and became even closer to God. I was also blessed with my miracle baby. Miracle Nicole Grayson on December 14, 2022! Which gives me even more of a reason to put my best foot forward and continue the marathon!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a Graphic Designer, Houston Custom Designs, which is my graphic business of 7 years, helped multiple businesses grow and flourish, and made tons of happy customers with custom products such as shirts, phone cases, obituaries and more.
I’m a Tax professional, I started doing taxes in 2021. I’ll be branching out and starting my own tax company for 2025 ” LUCKY CHARM TAXES’.
I’m a Entertainer/ Influencer I have been in a few videos and a movie which I played a cop in ‘The dirty 3rd ( New Generation) movie. I do plan on getting back to acting.
I am the owner of Female Hustler boutique, which I am currently rebranding.
I’m also managing a few music artists and will have a show at Outside the box with Onney studio’s! At the begin of 2025, for Artist and Entrepreneur ‘s .
I have a lot that I’m doing, I’m a very busy woman.. but I’m also building me a team that I can trust and WIN with!
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I love that our city have alot of talent and potential, but I just wish that Houston wasn’t so much of a “Crab in the bucket “ city. It’s money out here for all of us! We should support each other more, and collaborate more.
