Hi Jocelyne, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started to grow a passion for Makeup at 12 years old when I started applying mascara for the first time. Afterwards, That’s when I started watching more makeup tutorials on YouTube.
It wasn’t until I was 15 when I started expanding my makeup collection, so much trial and error I experienced with my skin as well during the process.
2020 was when I realized I wanted to do it more professionally and start my Makeup Artist career. That’s when Tilaglams is born and continues to grow with every challenge and success, and I look forward to seeing where my passion takes me.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There have been a few bumps on the way, and in reality, it’s never as glamorous as it seems. But when everything comes together, it’s all worth it. It’s moments like these that remind me why I love what I do.

Im a Makeup Artist based in Houston, known for my Soft/Full Glam makeup looks and chic personal style. My expertise lies in Fashion and Beauty, where I bring out the best in every client.
I’m incredibly proud of my resilience, especially during the toughest times, as it has taught me that with perseverance, anything is possible.
What truly sets me apart is my genuine understanding, care, and gratitude toward everyone I meet. I believe that kindness and a positive attitude make all the difference in my work.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
The characteristics that have been most important to my success are patience, empathy, creativity, positivity, determination, and adaptability. These traits allow me to connect with my clients, stay inspired, overcome challenges, and continue growing.
