Conversations with Justice Maxwell

Today we’d like to introduce you to Justice Maxwell.

Hi Justice, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Honestly, it was by accident. One day when I was in school studying for veterinary science, a friend of mine asked would I go to a Model rehearsal with her. I agreed and honestly that one choice changed my life.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it hasn’t been smooth. I’ll say it’s been more like a roller coaster in a themed amusement park that consistently changes with twists and turns. There are definitely high moments and low moments, but the point is, the ride doesn’t stop.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Professionally, I Model via print work and runway. I also do styling projects for men when it comes to certain events that they have and they may not know what to wear. I’m most proud of my resilience and having a thick skin in this industry. It’s not easy and one thing that possibly sets me apart from others is that I’m always willing to be a student.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
To me, success is looking at the laborers of your work and actually being happy with what you made. Setting a positive influence on people that are far different from you and even of different ages. They look up to you for what you do and how consistent you are in your field. And you inspire them to want to do the same thing that you do.
