Today we’d like to introduce you to Karla Pedroza
Hi Karla, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My cousin Brenda and I have shared a lifelong dream of entrepreneurship, and when the perfect opportunity arose, we seized it with excitement. Through dedication, perseverance, and a genuine passion for our work, we’ve successfully grown our business together. It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m proud of what we’ve achieved as a team.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
While we’ve encountered a few logistical challenges along the way, overall, our experience has been incredibly rewarding. The opportunity to build a business with my cousin has been a dream come true, and we’re thrilled with the progress we’ve made so far. It’s been a lot of hard work, but the sense of accomplishment and fulfillment we’ve felt makes it all worth it.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Our business is a unique and exciting venture that consists of: our popular snack bar, popsicle cart and hand-painted bubble balloons. Our snack bar has gained a loyal following due to its exceptional variety, meticulous organization, and visually appealing presentation. We take pride in creating an inviting and Instagram-worthy display that showcases our wide range of snacks, making it very popular at our customers events. The Popsicle cart is a delightful treat especially during this very hot summer! Meanwhile, our personalized hand-painted bubble balloons add an extra touch of fun and whimsy, making our business a memorable experience.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
For us, success is not just about achieving a specific goal or milestone; it’s about the positive impact we have on our customers and their guests after each event. Seeing the joy and happiness on their faces is incredibly fulfilling and makes us feel awesome. As we continue to grow and learn, we’re proud of the business we’ve built and the experiences we create. Every new event represents a goal achieved, and we’re excited to keep pushing ourselves to new heights. We will adding a third cart with an elevated selection of snacks, stay tuned!
