Hi Kylan, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started my social media journey during the COVID-19 pandemic as a hobby, simply looking for a creative outlet during such an uncertain time. What began as a way to stay connected and express myself quickly evolved into a true passion as I discovered my love for storytelling, content creation, and community building. Over the years, I honed my skills, grew my audience, and turned that passion into a full-time career!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
While I have thoroughly enjoyed my journey in social media, the obstacles I’ve encountered along the way have played a significant role in my growth as a content creator. Facing challenges like adapting to ever-changing trends, managing tight deadlines, and balancing creativity with strategy has pushed me to refine my skills and stay innovative. These experiences have taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of continuous learning, ultimately shaping me into a more well-rounded and effective creator.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a lifestyle content creator active on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Threads, and Pinterest. I also host my own podcast titled “It Is What It Is,” which is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Google Podcasts. In this podcast, I discuss my personal life, travels, and more.
I am incredibly grateful for all that I have accomplished over the past five years in social media. I deeply appreciate God, my family, friends for their support, as well as my followers.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I wouldn’t say luck, per se, but hard work has led me to success in this industry more than anything.
