Hi Rebecca, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Stainbusters Carpet Cleaning is a family owned business that my husband and I proudly operate together. We started the company 14 years ago with one goal in mind, to provide honest, high quality service that people could trust.
Over the years, we’ve grown almost entirely through word of mouth and the support of our amazing customers. We’ve never tried to be the biggest company, only the one people feel confident recommending to their family and friends. Today, we’re proud to have earned hundreds of five star reviews and to be known for our expertise in carpet cleaning, upholstery, rugs, tile and stone cleaning, pet odor removal, and carpet repairs.
As parents of four children, we understand how important it is to have a clean, healthy home. Every home we enter is treated with the same care and respect we’d want for our own. Looking back, we’re incredibly grateful for the trust our customers have placed in us over the years, and we’re excited to continue serving our community for many years to come.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Like most small businesses, it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. We’ve faced our share of challenges, from economic ups and downs to navigating a global pandemic, rising costs, and the everyday uncertainties that come with owning a family business while also raising kids. There have been long days, late nights, and times when we questioned if we were making the right decisions.
One of the biggest lessons we’ve learned is that your reputation is everything. We’ve always chosen to focus on quality over quantity and taking extra time to ensure every job was done correctly. That commitment has earned the trust of our customers, and many of them have been with us for years.
Every challenge has helped us grow, both as business owners and as a family. Looking back, those difficult moments made us stronger and reinforced why we started this business in the first place: to provide exceptional service and build lasting relationships with the people we serve.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At Stainbusters Carpet Cleaning, we specialize in professional carpet, upholstery, rug, tile, and natural stone cleaning, along with pet odor removal and carpet stretching and repairs. While many companies focus on getting in and out as quickly as possible, we focus on doing the job right. Our goal is to leave every home cleaner, healthier, and looking its absolute best.

With more than 25 years of industry knowledge and 14 years serving our community as Stainbusters Carpet Cleaning, we’ve built our reputation on quality workmanship, honesty, and exceptional customer service. We invest in continuing education, use professional grade equipment, and believe every home deserves a customized approach rather than a one size fits all cleaning.
We’re especially known for tackling challenging jobs that others may not be able to solve, from stubborn stains and pet odor issues to delicate area rugs and carpet repairs. We also take pride in educating our customers so they understand the cleaning process and can make informed decisions about caring for their homes.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Something that surprises a lot of people is that when we’re not cleaning carpets, we’re usually outside working on our small farm. We raise pigs and chickens, enjoy gardening, and are always working on a new project around our property. It’s a completely different pace from running a business, but it’s something our family genuinely loves.
In many ways, farming and owning a service business have a lot in common. Both require hard work, patience, problem solving, and a willingness to get your hands dirty. They also remind us of the importance of taking care of what you’ve been entrusted with, whether that’s caring for animals, growing a garden, or helping customers care for their homes.
We enjoy the simple things, spending time together as a family, being outdoors, and serving our community. Those values carry over into everything we do, both at home and at Stainbusters Carpet Cleaning.
