Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Lady L Luxurious Bundles really took off in 2016 while I was at PVAMU. The young ladies in my age group had finally gotten an understanding of how to maintain our bundles while also looking for quality hair! I went back home to Chicago that summer and began the search, and I’ve been selling hair ever since. As time progressed the demand increased and the market began to change; Wigs were in! I began working diligently to produce a convenient and affordable glue-less wig, which allows the beauty of a ready-to-go style while being versatile enough to remove daily. Our glue-less wig collection was inspired by the need to include our beauties that suffer from illnesses that require simple and convenient styles while also being able to feel beautiful !! Day to day our team works toward the company’s dream of allowing every woman and young girl to know and feel the Luxurious Beauty Experience!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My journey has shaped me maybe even changed me however it put me exactly where I need to be! It’s been a crazy ride, and I had to understand and learn the market and adjust to the needs of my consumers. I wanted to produce the best I taught myself new things, and went searching for outside help, it took a lot of trying and failing. For every time I fell, I would pick up and keep learning I realized that anything worth having just never comes easy so every day I give my all to achieve my dream of one day giving away free wigs to those in need of them.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I create beauty! I was blessed to be able to create a feeling of beauty with my hands. I share my gift with others who are then able to adopt the feeling in their lives proceeding forward. The Luxurious Experience isn’t just about hair it’s an overall sense of confidence, a new way of life!
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success can only be truly defined by one’s internal gratification. As long as I was able to be of help and bring luxurious beauty to at least one person on my path, I am a success, I have succeeded and rest assured, I’ll ALWAYS win!
