I began my career in the dental field as a dental assistant, eventually transitioning into teaching dental assisting at Pima Medical Institute. For the past five years, I’ve been managing multiple dental practices, honing my leadership and organizational skills. However, my true passion lies in sustainable fashion. I love thrifting and the creativity that comes with mixing vintage and modern styles. Now, I’m channeling that passion into launching my own secondhand online shop, where I can share my love for unique, sustainable fashion with others.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Being a single mother for a period of time came with its own set of challenges, from balancing a demanding career in the dental field to managing finances and ensuring stability for my child. It required resilience, careful time management, and countless sacrifices. Moving to a new city added another layer of difficulty, as I had to adjust to an unfamiliar environment, build a new support system, and navigate the challenges of starting over. Throughout my career, transitioning from a dental assistant to an instructor and eventually managing multiple dental practices presented steep learning curves and professional growth demands. At the same time, pursuing my true passion for sustainable fashion hasn’t always been easy. With work and family responsibilities taking priority, finding time to dedicate to thrifting and building my secondhand online shop has been a challenge in itself. However, these struggles have shaped me into the person I am today, fueling my drive to create a meaningful and fulfilling life.

I specialize in leadership and am known for bringing energy, creativity, and strong leadership to my role. Throughout my career, I have balanced managing multiple dental practices while embracing my passion for sustainable fashion. I’m often recognized for my unique style at work, seamlessly blending professionalism with creativity. Beyond the office, I use my online platforms to inspire others to shop secondhand, promoting sustainability and the beauty of curated, pre-loved clothing.
