Hi Tamara, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
Grew up in Opelousas, Louisiana and moved to Houston in 1999. Graduated from Alief Hastings High School in 2004. I got my license in 2017 after 10+ years of working in customer service. After finding out that there are so many avenues in Real Estate I decided to create and operate my own LLC, Imperial Realty.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. In fact, of all the industries I’ve worked in, Real Estate has to be the most predictable yet unpredictable industry ….if that makes sense. One of the biggest struggles I’ve learned along the way is being consistent is one, if not, the most important thing to remember. Being able to adapt on a day to day basis is a big one also. Don’t expect any 2 clients, closings, or anything for that matter, to be the same!
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a licensed Realtor in Houston Texas. I’ve worked in Residential and commercial real estate. I wouldn’t say I particularly specialize in one area of real estate. I typically try my best to assist every client if possible. Being able to help someone no matter what their real estate needs at the time is something I pride myself on. I know there will be a time soon where my team will grow to be able to assist clients on a larger scale.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
No Luck, all hard work, consistency and diligence. You adapt if necessary when things don’t go as planned and move forward. I use this concept in both Life and Business.
