Today we’d like to introduce you to Yvette Veney. They and their team shared their story with us below:
Yvette Veney, founder of NuEra Production and visionary of this project, began to take form in 2016 back in Maryland. The Gospel Wiz Musical is not only a stage play, it’s a ministry which the narrative of healing and inspiration is created and expressed through the form of storytelling and music. This vision was brought forth to help, inspire, encourage, and enlighten others in the faith base communities. Since 2022 Yvette Veney has relocated to Houston, Texas, and teamed up with Essence Entertainment to bring this vision and dream of hers into fruition to the Houston community.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It was not a smooth road in the beginning. With this journey came a few bumps in the road, such as finding the right cast, rehearsing schedules conflicts, funding, and sponsors, but none that would stop me with my mission and goal!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a visionary and entrepreneur and often inspired to journal what is given to me and to bring to life, whether that is creatively or professionally. What sets me apart is my inspiration and mission is to heal, inspire others on many levels.
