Today we’d like to introduce you to Amy Cole Bremser
Hi Amy Cole, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey with photography actually started on the opposite side of the camera! I was modeling during my teen years and was always fascinated by the photography side of the fashion industry. I should have known I’d grow up to be a photographer because, as a child, my favorite thing was—if you can guess—a camera.
I began pursuing photography full-time right after earning my bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston in 2017. Since then, photography has taken me down many different avenues in life. I not only run my portrait company, Photography by Amy Cole, but I also own a sister company, Amy Cole Creative, LLC, which focuses on marketing assets for businesses and professionals. Through this, I use photography to curate digital marketing assets such as headshots, social media content, and branding images. One of the biggest companies I work with is a wholesale diamond jewelry company in NYC, which means I travel quite a bit for that as well so my photography as taken me all over the USA.
I love helping businesses and professionals grow, excel, and achieve their goals. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of others’ success stories.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Nothing truly valuable in life comes easy, and that’s especially true in business. Whether it’s dealing with doubt from others or navigating the challenges of running operations behind the scenes, obstacles are inevitable. My biggest advice for anyone facing struggles on the path to success is to surround yourself with positive, like-minded people. For every negative experience, there are at least five positive ones—you just have to focus on them.

As a Houston and Galveston-based photographer, I specialize in capturing vibrant and joyful moments for graduates, couples, families, and content creators. My passion lies in creating bright, colorful, and airy images that reflect the genuine emotions of my clients. Whether it’s a downtown rooftop session or a serene beach shoot, I aim to make every experience fun and comfortable.
I’m particularly proud of being recognized as Galveston’s Best Photographer in 2024. This honor reflects my commitment to my clients and the community. What sets me apart is my dedication to making each client feel at ease, ensuring their unique personalities shine through in every photograph. Clients often mention how comfortable and confident they feel during our sessions, which is the highest compliment I can receive.
Ultimately, my goal is to create lasting memories and provide an enjoyable experience for everyone I work with. Capturing the essence of individuals and their special moments is not just my profession but my passion.
What are your plans for the future?
Yes! There are lots of future plans for the future. This spring I will be launching the Amy Cole Senior Influencer Program for my 2026 seniors and I am thrilled to expand in that.
Aside from portrait photography I also own a sister company: Amy Cole Creative LLC. where I assist small businesses with digital marketing, content creation, and social media management. This allows me to combine my visual storytelling skills with strategic marketing to help brands stay on-trend and connect with their audiences. I work with clients from here to New York and am so thankful to be able to provide this service.
