Today we’d like to introduce you to Ash Davito.
Hi Ash , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started modeling my senior year at Worthing High School. My choir teacher Mr. Hall and his colleague Ms. Martin believed in my potential and came together to pay for me to go to Mayo Hill Modeling School where I completed a 12 week course for modeling. Once I graduated and enrolled in college at Prairie View A&M University, I started doing professional print work for magazines, runway fashion shows and featuring in mainstream music videos for various artist from 2001-2012
From there, my modeling career opened doors for professional acting roles in over 40 movie projects from in Hollywood, Nollywood, and Independent films from 2004-2015. Including celebrity stage play “God Send Me A Man” starring Robin Givens and Clifton Powell as well as “Let God Be The Judge” starring Carl Payne and Elise Neal.
I also self published my own children’s book and activity/coloring book in 2009 “Sunny & Star Elf”. E.L.F. stands for excersing literacy foundation. Sunny and Star are two elves that live in a tree house in an animated community called fantasy forest where they promote education, community work, cultural variation and literacy.
I started my own film production company, Davito Family Films LLC to use my writing, directing and film producing talent to create credible projects and provide professional opportunities to upcoming and inspiring talent in the entertainment business.
I directed and produced my first comedy film, TEMP TO FIRE, which is now streaming on Tubi and several other platforms such as Apple TV UK.
In 2020 I started my own music record label, GLOBAL KEYS RECORDS CORPORATION where I write, compose and produce music and publish it commercially. I signed various artist for single deals for hits like “MY TOWN” by Mugg Man featuring Jon Glenn, “TEMPTING BEAUTY, and R&B hit single “I CROWN YOU” by Lori Dansby featuring Jon Glenn written and produced by myself, Ash Davito.
I’m currently working on a new suspense drama for 2026.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, the road has been challenging trying to provide for your family while finding ways to fund your creative dreams. My main struggle was overcoming hatred and disingenuous family and friends that didn’t want to see me succeed. I had to keep myself focus on my heart desires and purpose throughout this journey.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m an actor, writer, self-publisher, director, film and music producer, and composer.
I’m most proud of my comedy film I wrote, directed and produced, TEMP TO FIRE.
My drive, experience and self awareness is what sets me apart from others.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
My biggest accomplishments in life has been accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and the birth of my son, Blaze. God has been very good to me and I’m still growing as a Christian, a father, an artist and as a man in general.
