Today we’d like to introduce you to Carina Campos.
Hi Carina , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
It all started as a kid my grandma and mom showed me how to sew so since a little girl I learned to make me little outfits or adjusting my clothes to fit perfectly. I always love art,fashion and creating. I decided to start my first clothing brand (RIRI APPROVED) at 23 yrs old this was custom clothing from hand painting to create custom pieces of clothes called one of one. It took me 5 years to grow it and decided to shift my creative to something else that I also loved which is arts and craft. Started a brand called papers and paint and that has been such a success too. That business keeps growing as I type. I have a few other projects I have been working on the low but haven’t released to the public yet.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Oh no, the road has not been easy I’ve heard alot of nos & mean people who want to destroy and take credit of what I’m building. Regardless of all of that it never stoped me I have a dream to chase
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a creative, with two business running while being a full time mom. I do content creations for brands, help other brands/businesses grow. Im most proud of everything really. I have work so hard for everything I have. I quit my corporate 9-5 years to go chase my dream. When I was already making a decent amount.
I think what sets me apart from other is the amount of love I pour in my business and people. Everything I do is with good intentions. Never cared about the money. My goal was clear since the beginning. I wanted freedom of my own time while being able to build and do what I love most. That’s exactly what I’m doing now.
What matters most to you? Why?
My daughter, my family and friends.
They are my biggest supporters, they have believed and never doubt it since day 1.
