Hi Consuelo, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey as a content creator truly took off after I graduated high school and entered college, a time when I was preparing to face the world. As I made this transition, I felt uncertain about my future and often found myself asking, “What do I really want to do?” Unfortunately, I rarely had a clear answer. Shortly after starting college, I made the decision to dive into content creation and began posting online. I initially began with posting short SHEIN hauls and unboxing TikTok videos which had an amazing turnout. I focused on creating engaging content that resonated with my audience, using a mix of photos, videos, and written posts. Over time, I learned the importance of interacting with my followers, responding to comments, and collaborating with small business brands to grow my reach. I later discovered the SHEIN Campus Ambassador program, specifically designed for college students. Since my content was already gaining traction, I decided to apply and give it a shot. Once I was accepted, I started taking my platform more seriously and began producing even more content. After a year of impressive growth, I received invitations to attend their SHEIN in-person events, where I had the incredible opportunity to fly out to Los Angeles and Coachella, courtesy of the SHEIN team. In February 2024, I was honored to become a Leader for the Texas SHEIN Campus Ambassador Chapter. It’s been a rewarding experience, and I’m excited to continue growing within this vibrant community. My platform centers around Hispanic trends in fashion, and I take immense pride in what I’ve built. Celebrating my roots is important to me, and I genuinely love creating content that reflects this aspect of my identity. It’s fulfilling to share and promote the vibrant styles and cultural influences that resonate with my community. I’ve also had the incredible privilege of collaborating with brands like JW PEI, MINISO, NINETEEN97 FASHION, 818 Tequila, Bloom Nutrition etc. My journey as a content creator has motivated me to pursue even more of my dreams, and I hope to open my own business in the near future. Currently, I’m a full-time student at Sam Houston State University, majoring in Forensic Chemistry. Balancing school, a part-time job, and content creation is certainly not for the weak! While it can be challenging at times, I genuinely love what I do and am achieving things I never thought possible. Reflecting on my journey, I realize that I once had no clear direction for my life, yet here I am, doing so much more than I ever imagined.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Some of the challenges I’ve encountered stem from balancing my responsibilities as a full-time college student and a part-time job. Juggling my studies, work, and family obligations can be tough, requiring careful planning and organization. I often find myself prioritizing tasks and making sacrifices, whether that means staying up late to finish assignments or setting aside personal time to meet deadlines.
Additionally, managing my content creation alongside everything else can be overwhelming at times. I strive to create quality content while also staying engaged with my audience, which requires constant creativity and commitment. It’s a delicate balancing act, but I’ve learned to embrace the hustle and find ways to stay motivated. Ultimately, these challenges have taught me valuable skills in time management and resilience, and I’m proud of how far I’ve come in navigating this busy phase of my life.

I’m proud to be a Shein Campus Ambassador and serve as a leader of the Texas Shein Chapter. My journey as a content creator has allowed me to explore my passion for fashion, and I’ve had the exciting opportunity to model in various capacities. I truly consider myself an influencer, having collaborated with both small and large brands, which has enriched my experience and broadened my perspective on the industry. Through my role as an ambassador, I connect with fellow fashion enthusiasts, share styling tips, and promote the latest trends. I love creating diverse content, whether it’s look-books, styling videos, or behind-the-scenes glimpses of a day in my life. Each collaboration has taught me something new about creativity and branding, and I’m always eager to explore fresh ideas and connect with emerging designers. Fashion is not just about what we wear; it’s a powerful form of self-expression, and I’m excited to continue sharing that journey with my audience!
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
One of my favorite childhood memories is definitely our annual trips to Mexico every December. My family and I would travel there during the holidays to spend time with our relatives. Coming from a big family of eight—six girls plus our parents—we’re incredibly close and rely on each other. Each of us plays a vital role in our family dynamic. During our time in Mexico, we would visit family, celebrate together, and enjoy the vibrant festivities. The culture is absolutely beautiful, and being able to travel back year after year has been such a wonderful experience. The warmth of the gatherings and the richness of the traditions always fill my heart with joy. It’s a cherished time that I look forward to every year!
