Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Ledesma.
Hi Danielle, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve been in the hair industry (off and on) for 7 years, between being a stay at home mom and cosmetologist I’ve had a lot of time to study, practice and perfect my craft.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Definitely not smooth, I hopped around a few salons apprenticing along the way until I found a salon and worked my way from a receptionist all the way to master stylist! Being an apprentice was my biggest but extremely necessary struggle. It was also tough to keep taking long breaks in between my three babies and having to rebuild my clientele each time!
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a color and extension specialist! I’m known for my seamless transformations and beautiful color formulations. I’m most proud of how I’m able to surprise most ladies with the results of being in my chair, no matter how many times they’ve sat in it. The thing that sets me apart from others is, I’m a well-rounded stylist, I’m knowledgeable in all colors from blondes to brunettes to reds! And also being able to achieve healthy results no matter the color!
What’s next?
I love sharing my tips, tricks and knowledge with everyone who will listen, the challenge of teaching keeps my passion alive! So for the future, I’d love to get more into the education side of the hair industry (without leaving behind the chair!)!
