Daily Inspiration: Meet Deb Arnold

Today we’d like to introduce you to Deb Arnold.

Hi Deb, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
After being laid off at six months pregnant, I decided to take the opportunity to pursue my dreams. By remaining positive, studying hard, and relying on my family’s support, I obtained my license in real estate. The relationships I had built over the years became my sphere of influence, and that influence guided my professional career to one of success. Not only did my family, friends, and teachers instruct me on how to be a successful realtor, but so did my many clients. Without their feedback and my experiences with each client, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Owning your own business certainly has its ups and downs. When the housing market was absolutely booming there were challenges, such as guiding clients through setbacks and lost deals. However, there are also challenges in a slower, more normal housing market, such as guiding clients through longer waiting periods when selling or buying homes. Learning how to navigate each challenge has made me a stronger Realtor; there is always a lesson to learn!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a real estate agent in the greater Houston area but also have clients in Bryan/College Station and Crystal Beach. I have a passion for networking and building lifelong relationships. I am most definitely a “people person” where conversing and empathizing with individuals comes naturally to me. I pride myself on hard work, integrity, and outstanding client service because those core values are something I strongly stand by.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts, or blogs that help you do your best?
I continually seek to expand my knowledge in real estate, as well as building professional relationships. Outside of reading my daily devotional, I love to listen to different podcasts, such as Tom Ferry, Labcoat Agents, and Keeping it Real.
