Today we’d like to introduce you to Florencia Guarin.
Hi Florencia, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’m Florencia Guarin, an entrepreneur in the financial services, social media content creator and lifestyle blogger. Based in the Houston area in Texas and originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina. In May of 1997, my family arrived in Florida looking for the American dream. During the recession of 2009, we moved to Houston, Texas. Where I studied in the University of Houston and graduated Cum Laude / first-generation with a BFA during COVID-19 of May 2020. Before graduating, I started @florenciaxguarin, a personal blog on Instagram. @Florenciaxguarin is a lifestyle blog about Fashion, Beauty and finance. I share my life alongside my husband Jhon. You can find financial tips, as well as trendy outfits /sales and beauty inspiration.
I am a strong believer in giving back and serving others with 100% authenticity. As an entrepreneur in the financial industry, I stand together along Jhon to pour back belief and value to our communities. We love to build relationships and value authenticity and that is why @florenciaxguarin was born. I am proud to be a Houston Influencer/Blogger, whether it is through finance by helping families understand what’s accessible to them and bring knowledge. Or when I am building partnerships around the city to bring the best to my community to encourage and inspire. @Florenciaxguarin has been live for almost 2 years on Instagram. Since then, I have and collaborated with local businesses, been featured in Target’s Website & app and Partnered with known Brands for Campaigns, such as PHYSICIANS FORMULA, Brahmin, Athleta, COHLEY, Liquid IV, Flamingo, Schmidt’s, Codex, Paul and Joe Beaute, Trestique. We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Looking Back, it was not a smooth road, but I knew others had it 100 times worse and I was blessed. Leaving family and everything known to come to the U.S without knowing the language was not easy. We came to the U.S to find a better lifestyle and resources. Growing up in the public school system and being told what I can not become because of the way I looked, as an immigrant was not easy to hear or experience. I went through College and University, working to pay tuition and facing the voices that said I wasn’t good enough. I believe people underestimate the power of self-development and proper association. People fall into the lifestyle of what society has to offer due to their insecurities. Yet, for me, I knew that everything was going to be okay, if I didn’t quit and did everything with 100% commitment. As a believer in Christ, I know I can face the struggles and challenges that come along the way because it can only become stronger and help me grow.

I am in the business of people! I love building relationships, I am a huge believer in serving and giving back to our community through social media @florenciaxguarin and in the financial industry. My husband Jhon and I go by a motto ” Lead, serve, and transform.” I love social media marketing and sales, without these two businesses wouldn’t exist.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
We can all agree that everything about social media marketing and the way it is done is constantly changing. However, the faster you’re able to adapt, the less challenging it becomes. There’s a lot of changes for these coming years, personal, with the financial industry and for @florenciaxguarin. I invite you all to follow and ride along….but, what I can share is that my passion for relationship building will not change. Jhon and I have our Vision for our business, and we can not wait to share and for you all to see what comes next @florenciaxguarin.
