Hi Henrietta, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Well, I started my business back in 2019 in Chicago, but I had to close it down to focus in school for my RN. I am a widow and a single mom so it was hard running and business going to school and taking care of my kids. I moved to Houston in 2021 for a new start, it’s been a very long journey for me but I am here now. Am opening my business again here in Houston it’s called Beaubel Body Sculpting, it has been my dream for a very long time to have my own space and now I have that. I am very grateful for that and for this opportunity to share my opinion. Thank you very much.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road, most of my struggles was financial support I couldn’t get a business loan or a personal loan base of credit report. So it took me 3-4 months to be able to finance my business with the help of my mom and some of my friends. I must say the stress and anxiety of having your own is very high.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a body sculpting technician, I specialize in body contouring. I used modern-day technology to help sculpt the human body to your desired look. Well for now am trying to put my business out there so I won’t say am known for anything yet, but soon I will be known for my body contouring skills. I am mostly proud of my achievements and skills, I am an RN graduate, so I do have that background knowledge when it comes to my client’s health not just about their beauty.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Well first of, customer service is the most important part of doing business. So I have over 12 years of customer service experience working in a hospital and other facilities before I decided to open my own. My customer service skills set me and my business apart from others, it’s not all about the money for me.
