Today we’d like to introduce you to Henry and Amalia Torrealba Adames.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
During 2020, it was a very hard period in the development of our activities as musicians since it was very difficult to be within bands and orchestras on a virtual level. However, we managed to continue obtaining good results in all our activities.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
We as siblings decided to open our studio to continue growing as professionals and expand our knowledge to newer generations. We believe that everyone should be able to have a musical life. Music improves learning skills in children and it’s wonderful for their development. Being young teachers makes us connect rapidly with our students. I feel proud to hold a Yamaha certification at this young age which allows me to teach children.
We are also very proud of the acceptance our music studio has had in our community.
Our studio, in addition to offering musical lessons, also has a Jazz Band and we offer musical presentations of both band and pianist to accompany corporate events.
Our band is made up of young and talented college students of which Henry Torrealba Adames is proud to be the band’s musical director and pianist.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
To be a reference musical studio in the city of Houston and other cities where we can expand.
