Hi, my name is Janna and I’m a cosmetologist of 11yrs & YouTuber of 3yrs. I moved from Arkansas to Houston on hope and dreams to start my passion for hair full time. It’s not always easy but I make a way. Now, 3yrs later, I do hair part time wish it was full time but it’s hard and loving my YouTube Righteous & Ratchet. I love making people laugh!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely not easy getting clientele because you’re new to the area. Sometimes I get discouraged but I tell myself all the time, “You have goals to achieve get up & keep trying.”

Cosmetologist, I specialize in crochet braids butterfly locs & box braids. I’m jacks of all trades & love challenges but those are what I enjoy most. Also, I’m a YouTuber I recently just started a podcast called Righteous & Ratchet but before then I used to blog vacations, life, black owned businesses & hairstyles. I’m definitely one of a kind female
