Hi Jessica, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi, my name is Jessica Winters with Family Traveling USA! I am a proud mother, wife, and digital creator!
In 2023, our family of five decided to pursue a challenge to create a weekly YouTube video that would motivate us to get out more, experience new things, and spend time as a family. In 2023, we uploaded 156 videos on YouTube, traveled 19,075 miles, visiting 94 new cities and 261 new places.
In 2024, we are continuing our adventures as we explore the best family vacation destinations, dining experiences, and attractions in Houston, Texas, and across the USA!
We love not only being able to have these keepsakes of our family travels but also the opportunity to connect with and be inspired by all of the fantastic people we meet along the way!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has been an amazing adventure, but of course, there have been some struggles along the way. Balancing being a mother to three beautiful children, homeschooling, planning and executing a weekly adventure while working around my husband’s day job, and video editing leaves us very busy, but we wouldn’t have it any other way! We are incredibly grateful for all of the memories we have made and get to continue making together!

We focus on exploring family-friendly destinations, dining experiences, and attractions across the USA. We create videos on YouTube and Instagram that offer information about the locations we have visited to provide insight and inspiration for other travelers. I am proud of myself and my family for following through with our vision and continuing to chase our dreams. We love networking, supporting businesses, and spreading positivity along our journeys.
The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
A lesson we learned from the COVID-19 crisis was not to take life for granted and to move forward with following our dreams.
