Today we’d like to introduce you to Lindsey Wilkins. Her team shared their story with us below.
Lindsey lives in Katy, TX and has traveled the country taking pictures for numerous events. She enjoys taking a variety of photographs ranging from family portraits, events & weddings, to professional headshots. She even has a portable, print on-site photo booth that makes any gathering unforgettable.
Lindsey was first introduced to photography through the example and passion of her Dad. Although she never thought this path was for her, she’s come to realize that she couldn’t imagine doing anything else! Photography gives her a sense of purpose and fulfillment knowing that she is providing tangible memories for her clients.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Life is full of curvy roads. Making the best of everything really turns any obstacle into a positive challenge. The only way we can grow and be our best selves is to get out of our comfort zone.
I lost both of my parents by the age of 33. When my dad passed away, I realized the last family photo we ever took was 8 years before he died. We were a family of photographers and somehow we missed this. So now it’s my mission to provide amazing portraits to everyone that comes my way. Life can change in an instance, don’t wait.
Learning my worth was a top struggle I have dealt with my whole life. I have learned to surround myself with people that are encouraging and influential and that has completely changed the way I believe in my business and myself.

Lindsey specializes in portraits, events, weddings & has a print on-site photo booth. Lindsey is a graduate from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography and Digital Media with a minor in Business Management. She is currently a member of Central Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce & BNI Parkway Business Partners – the #1 chapter in West Houston. Lindsey has been published in a variety of local and nationwide magazines like Katy Magazine, Roots, BeLocal-Richmond, & Brand Model Magazine just to name a few. Her goals for 2022 is to book more weddings & events, hiring a second photographer and publishing more work in nationwide magazines and one day winning an award.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Lindsey finds joy everywhere she can and loves to capture it in her photographs. She is driven to create a memorable experience for all of her clients, which sets her apart from the crowd. With a growing 8-year-old daughter and 4-year-old identical twin boys, she knows the importance of capturing these memories before they pass. Once the kids are grown she dreams of being a traveling photographer, photographing landscapes and weddings.
