Daily Inspiration: Meet Logan Glenn

Today we’d like to introduce you to Logan Glenn.

Hi Logan, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
10-12 years ago I worked at a bbq restaurant in the midst of my Culinary career and have been in love with it since. Bbq has been a long time passion that I have been working on over the years at home. I eventually bought a large smoker and learned how to use it and would do some catering on the side then I joined the local farmers market to start building a brand name and getting the word out to the public. One thing led to another I left my old job, bought a bbq trailer from a friend at a discounted price and put tons of TLC into this trailer to bring it back to life next thing you know we open on my birthday last year and it’s been magic ever since. Doing what you love is the best feeling.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Finding the confidence to believe in my self and get rid of the self doubt that was built up through my childhood.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’d say we are most known for the Pork belly Burnt ends. They’re cubed pieces of pork belly that we season smoke and toss in a unique sauce that we rotate out every month for a new flavor.

We are most proud of being the first real craft bbq in Baytown and being the first restaurant in Baytown to be in Texas Monthly. This town isn’t know for much so I think it’s pretty cool that we are the ones putting the name on the map and breaking the mediocracy of this town

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
