As a seasoned hairstylist and makeup artist with 13 years experience, I’ve honed my skills through a UK accredited cosmetology course from Cleopatra and Steiner in Dubai. I’ve established a strong reputation in Dubai, transitioning from my role as a cabin crew member with Emirates Airline Dubai .My expertise in hairstyling, hair cutting, makeup and coloring is unparalleled. 💇♀️
Me and my husband opened this salon January 2022, our boutique salon overcame significant hurdles typical of small businesses. Propelled by determination and passion, we positioned ourselves as a reputable, owner-run salon, providing high-quality services, and as a lead hairstylist garnered recognition for outstanding achievements.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Having relocated from Dubai to the US, I am faced with the challenge of establishing a new client base, following my departure from my loyal and regular clients in Dubai. Recruiting exceptional hairstylist employees who share my commitment to excellence. Establishing a distinctive presence in a crowded marketplace where hair salons are plentiful. Selecting premium products for my clients. Updating my skills every 5 months to remain abreast of the latest cutting-edge styles and techniques.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As a creative polymath, I confidently assert my identity as an artist, hairstylist, colorist, and makeup artist, with a broad skill set encompassing painting, murals, expressive art, furniture painting, pouring art, and resin art. The weight of these responsibilities can be daunting, and I frequently find myself wishing for the capacity to achieve more. My distinguishing characteristics include my innovative approach, ability to deliver candid and flawless hairstyle guidance for diverse face cuts, and meticulous attention to detail in makeup artistry.
How do you think about luck?
Although I believe in luck to some degree, I am convinced that you must strive to excel and surpass luck in your life and business endeavors.
