Daily Inspiration: Meet Omolara Lawson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Omolara Lawson.

Omolara, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
One thing about me I love Food, Beauty, Fashion and Music. Growing up we would always get questions like “Who do you want to be when you grow up?” I could never really answer that question with full confidence because I had so many things I wanted to try in my mind. I pushed myself into becoming a nail tech as my first long-term goal because I started obsessing over people going above and beyond creating art on nails ,taking it to the next level while it’s becoming an necessity to fashion.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My rule of thumb is that you have to fail to succeed. Taking risks pushes yourself to see how far you can really go. This was a HUGE factor to starting my business. Taking risks built my confidence up and opened up doors for me that I didn’t even know I could open. It has taught me that failure is okay and that if something feels too easy to accomplish then it’s not  the right fit. In order to succeed in life, I learned that you have to be uncomfortable. Being comfortable will only keep you surfaced not giving you the ability to grow.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a nail artist and I specialize in Manicures, Pedicures, and Fullsets. Being a highly motivated precise individual is what sets me apart from everyone else in this industry. I’m so proud of the support that I’ve developed , Without support nothing ever feels like it could get done.
