Today we’d like to introduce you to Oscar Starr
Hi Oscar, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Mr. Oscar J. Starr is a native of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is also the current Founder and CEO of Express Direct Professional Services LLC, and the newly formed GameChangers Entrepreneurial Consulting Services. Mr. Starr is also an experienced and professional entrepreneur, with over 3 years of building a company from its foundation. He is a published author of his new book entitled “The GameChanger Perspective, ” and “Having a Sincere Hunger for Success: Do You Have What It Takes.” Mr. Starr is a licensed notary public agent with the State of Texas. In which, he has performed over several Estate Planning Signing Ceremonies on behalf of the Influencer Firm P.C. Mr. Oscar J. Starr is a member of the International Council of Small Business, as well a member of the American Bar Association. Mr. Starr has taken his entrepreneurial journey to the next level in advocating game changing ideas, in which has became the foundation of his company. He has also used his knowledge in entrepreneurship to take Express Direct Professional Services to the next level beyond its limits. The purpose of the GameChanger Entrepreneurial Consulting Services, is to educate and consult potential entrepreneurs in creating and building a successful company or business. His personal philosophy is “Being a game changer by making a difference and a positive impact.” Mr. Oscar Starr recently self-published and released his new book, Establishing the Foundations of a Relationship along with his wife Mrs. Jarae Starr who is the co-contributor. I am also host and founder of The GameChanger Perspective Podcast. CEO and Founder of the newly formed Oscar J. Starr III Enterprises, and GC Enterprises Online Bookstore. Published Author of over 21 books.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I’ve many hardships, setbacks, and failures along the way. Went through a period of homelessness several years ago. Facing with so many challenges in my life. However, I learned how to keep on going and persevering forward.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I considered myself as a game-changer, in which I learned how to think outside the box. Learning how to push my potential, by going above and beyond. I am most proud of publishing my first book, The GameChanger Perspective. Having also to host my very first podcast, The GameChanger Perspective Podcast. Most of all, starting two companies in which are becoming very successful.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
My advice is to find a mentor, who’s sees your potential and is willing to bring it out of you. What has worked well for me personally, is that no matter how difficult things were in which I’ve encountered. I understood that quitting wasn’t an option. Yes, you may endure failures however it is up to you to turn those failures and make them into something successful.
