Today we’d like to introduce you to Otis Wellborn Jr.
Hi Otis, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
A Cincinnati native who recently moved to Tomball, TX, to start a new life’s journey of love with his newly wedded wife, Eryka. While in Ohio, Otis was an award-winning realtor as well as a law enforcement veteran of eleven years. Over the past 8 years, Otis has had the opportunity to speak at conventions, featured in magazines, and interviewed on national television for his book, “How To Make Six Figures Selling Real Estate as a Realtor.“ Otis’ servant heart and passion to help people has now led him to pursue his purpose in the motivational speaking industry. He feels led by God to speak encouragement and empowerment to the nations through dynamic speaking topics for men, school students, and organizations.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
One of the struggles I had earlier in my career was not having a supportive system of individuals in the workplace around me to ask questions when I needed assistance.

Currently an entrepreneur, my focus is on completing the Next Level Speakers Academy led by the world-renowned Jeremy Anderson, Dr. Eric “ET” Thomas, and Inky Johnson. I specialize in helping individuals build a brand at a high level and teaching entrepreneurs how to run and expand their business across the country. I’m most proud of being in the top 10% in real estate sales and having my brand, The Wellborn Experience, known across the country. I’m the founder of the Together We Evolve Global Men’s Group on Facebook. A community that gives men an outlet and support to speaking on life among other men.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
I suggest that people should do their due diligence by researching and interviewing candidates to find a good mentor. Growing my business organically through social media worked wonders for me.
