Today we’d like to introduce you to Pedro Herrera.
Hi Pedro, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Coming from a hardworking Mexican household, my parents are the two entrepreneurs that inspired me to venture off into the world of business. I started out doing film and script writing ever since the age of 11 with a couple of close friends. I went on to high school and joined the audio/video program. That’s where my love for the business of film and anything audio/photo-related skyrocketed. In 2017, I graduated high school, and in 2018 I began to write music under the name “Yung Sasuke”, as well as joined film school at Studio 713 in downtown Houston. In 2022, I started “Shot by Sasuke”, a photo/video business where I help others create art, and capture the special moments in their lives!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has not been smooth, in 2021 I tried to start my first business, TCG Paradise USA which went under within the same year. That business failure set me back a couple of thousands and put me into debt which I’m still paying off to this day.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in Music videos, writing music and video scripts, and senior photography as well. I’m proud of all the music I’ve written up to now, as well as the music videos I’ve gotten a chance to make with some local Houston artists.
Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
Not really, besides that humans tend to panic about toilet paper quite easily. And that the covid pandemic is no joke. It has taken loved ones from me and has affected our daily lives drastically.
