Daily Inspiration: Meet Treva Wygle

Today we’re excited to be connecting with Treva Wygle again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.

Awesome, so we reached out because we wanted to hear all about what you have been up to since we last connected.
Hey there, I’m Treva. I live on Galveston Island where I take on many roles! It’s hard to put just one label on myself for I feel like I am forever changing and growing and experiencing all that’s meant for me.

Just a recap, I own Plan-it ink Photography Galveston. I’ve been a professional photographer for over 25 years, this will always be a passions and major part of who I am because it gives me the innate opportunity to see and capture things of beauty! It’s a family business where both of my beautiful daughters, Samantha and Sabrina, join me in offering photography services on the Island! My photography has expanded over the years and covers everything from portrait photography, real estate and even travel photography! There’s nothing more exciting and fulfilling than being able to document life’s milestones and experiences through photography and art.

In 2023, keeping with the beauty theme, I expanded my business (Plan-it ink) to offer interior design services with Plan-it ink Style. I have always had a creative eye and love decorating and bringing beauty to a space and joy to people. I find custom interior design to be so satisfying allowing me to create meaningful home spaces for people that really speaks to their heart and warms their soul. I believe the home should be a place of comfort where you are surrounded by all the things you love, that create wonderful memories and wrap you with a warm hug every time you enter.

I do feel like life is a journey, and an ever changing growth experience. For the past year and a half I have been on a beautiful journey of self discovery and growth that has taken me from the red rocks of Sedona, Arizona to the majestic pyramids of Egypt! Travel has become my best friend and passion. Studying ancient societies and cultures, religion from a historical and scientific perspective, as well as a mystic approach to spirituality has become a fascination for me and has led me to read over 130 books and counting. Life can be so remarkable when you allow yourself to be vulnerable enough to seek and experience other perspectives and challenge limiting beliefs as you rediscover your own truth for life.

This journey and the knowledge, wisdom and individual raw experiences I have had now lead me to write my own book! Once you encounter life changing experiences it awakens something within you that urges to be shared with others. With my journalistic and publishing background this next step comes so natural to me and has been a long time coming.

I have always been an entrepreneur and lived life believing that I can accomplish anything I set my mind and heart to. I have always just flowed in my passions. Passions can change and that is ok. We change, we grow, we step into knowing who we are, what we want and the things that make us truly happy in life. It’s ok to change the course of your life to follow your dreams.

My current studies has unleased an even more intense passion for travel and to experience the world first hand! Next on the list is Machu Picchu, Peru! Ever trip I take, every book I read and every truth I encounter just makes my book that much more intriguing!

So as I grow, my opportunities grow as well providing greater adventures in store. My current project I am working on, along with my book, is offering travel services to others, helping them and encouraging them to travel and experience the world! There is something so freeing and captivating about stepping outside of your day to day to put your self in a place of awe and wonder that makes you feel truly alive. I want that for others! It’s what life is all about! Having those beautiful experiences that change your life, open your eyes and fill your heart.

Travel Agency in the works and coming real soon! I’ll keep you posted!

Love and believe in yourself, eat good food, hug a stranger, be kind and TRAVEL!

One of my favorites is cruising down the Nile River in Egypt on the top deck, drinking an iced latte with the most amazing new friends I met that have now become some of my closest friends. Just to be able to travel and experience new places, other cultures and meet amazing people in that setting is like nothing on earth. The realness and purity of it warms my heart and makes me feel alive!
