Today we’d like to introduce you to Yarael Forevrr.
Hi Yarael, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I come out of church. I started playing drums at 3 years old. By the time I was 7, I was singing and leading solo songs with the choir. My music production career started in 2007. I began selling Beats to local artists and singers. I started on Fruity Loops. I began recording myself in 2013, and in 2019, I resurfaced with a different sound and style. I took a break from music throughout my lifespan for various reasons, one specifically the transition of my oldest son from kidney cancer. I released and published a book called Tears Of An Angel: coping and healing from Child Loss. Since then, I have put out over 6 EPs and multiple singles.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Some of my early struggles were information and not knowing the processes it took to be successful in the entertainment and music industry.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I do music production, stage performance, creative Concepts, and marketing. I specialize in music production, singing and songwriting, arrangement, beat-making, and artist development. I most proud of the body of work that I am currently sitting on right now. I have released two projects this year in 2023; I perform my first Festival this year at the HEB Festival in Huntsville, Texas. What sets me apart is that I grew up in an era of singers who can actually sing, and you had to have immense talent to be recognized. That has been forgotten in today’s music world.
Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the COVID-19 crisis?
I learned that as long as there’s some type of connection between people, you can always get your point across, sell your brand, or engage with people. I realize I didn’t need a stage to perform. I realize I didn’t need a million streams; I just needed a thousand actual people to support my brand, products, and music.
